This book written by Tengku Farith Rithauddeen and now he as a CEO at SKALI. This chapter talk about himself and tell about how he growth to become a
entrepreneur.
When he 13 years old, he study to high school in Ottawa, Canada and finally he graduate from Carleton University with a Bachelor’s degree in Economics in 1992.
His father is, Tengku Ahmad Rithauddeen and his mother Tengku Nor Aini and he have a six siblings include him – Tini Supardi, Tengku Farahlucia, Tengku Feizaluddin, Tengku Putri Falida, himself and Tengku Fadli. His father work as a government minister. Although his father busy,but he didn’t forget his duties....
Now talk his mother,she’s come from kelantanese and true entrepreneur in the family. His mother loved a good business deal, and she had an eye for properties. His grandfather was an entrepreneur too and his Malay rubber plantation owner. She also trained us, her children, in financial management because many of the rooms would be rented out to other students.
After graduated and came he back to join Commerce International Merchant Bankers (CIMB).
He was attached to the privatisation unit, which was then headed by Nazir Razak, who is now the Chief Executive Officer and learnt the ropes the hard way, and started from the very bottom as was the most junior person in the team. Besude that he talk about his friends where there are azmi,nazir and aimi , they have a lot challenging in interprenure world. A few years after I joined CIMB, Azmi, Aimi and I would join forces to form a corporate advisory consultancy called ACIF Resources, which would later become one of the main shareholders of SKALI. But Azmi now resign and his most talk about his friend, Azmi and he so miss him.......
